We breed top-quality Yorkshire Terriers. With over 25 years of experience, we've developed a specialized breeding program that prioritizes the well-being and happiness of our puppies. We produce healthy, happy, and well-socialized Yorkies that will be cherished companions for years to come. Each puppy receives individual attention and care from the moment they are born. At Real Yorkies of NorCal, we believe in responsible breeding practices. Our dogs are known for their sound health with unique baby doll faces. We test all our breeding dogs for genetic health issues common to the breed, ensuring the healthiest possible puppies. We do not breed "teacup" Yorkies and only produce puppies that will mature to a healthy weight of 4 pounds or more. We are located in Baltimore, MD, but can arrange for puppy transportation to any state by way of a lap nanny. Our puppies are sold as beloved companions and rarely with breeding rights.
Our puppies are born and raised in our home, where they receive plenty of love, attention, and socialization from day one. We believe in early training and enrichment, so our puppies are well on their way to being competent in basic commands, polite behavior, and potty training before they go to their new homes. All of our puppies go home up to date on their vaccinations, deworming, de-parasite, and come with a one-year health guarantee. We also provide a puppy care package that includes enough food to get you started, a blanket with the mother & siblings smell, toys, and other essentials to help you get started on the right foot with your new loving companion. As a responsible breeder we have taken all possible steps to find healthy Westie to add to our family. All our dogs are free of any common ailments that Westie face. This being said, there are many things that as a breeder we can’t guarantee for our puppies. Our guarantee is that we have provided proper care for our puppies and guarantee our puppies of any major health issues or life threatening conditions. Do not confuse typical breed issues with breeding issues as many new Westie owners do. We have provided a page containing information on what is considered normal in the breed as well as health and physical conditions that can occur that has nothing to do with the breeding process. Kindly understand that not every puppy will be 100% free of developing any kind of health condition later on down the line. Once they leave our home it is up to you to make sure their health is maintained. This means many trips to the vet, and probably some medical attention as well. The seller certifies that upon receipt, the puppy is in good health and has been immunized and de-wormed according to the accompanying health record of said puppy.The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by their veterinarian at their expense within 5 working days from date of purchase, failure to do so will void this health guarantee. The puppy is guaranteed for (1) year against fatal and life altering congenital diseases that adversely affects the health of the animal. This guarantee will only cover severe hip dysplasia (which hampers the dog’s movement and natural gait and which requires surgery to correct), kidney, heart, pancreas, spine and liver problems of a severe, life threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies within a 1 year time frame, the buyer must pay to have the animal autopsied to determine the reason at their expense. The seller reserves the right to a second veterinarian opinion at the expense of the seller. Shipping puppy back is at the sellers expense. If the reason is found to be one of the above listed conditions, the Seller will replace the puppy from another litter when available. ** NOTE: This guarantee also does not cover what in the Yorkies breed is considered normal: cherry eye, entropian, skin allergies, elongated soft palate, stenotic nares, over-heating or heat exhaustion.The buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by a local veterinarian at their expense within 5 working days from date of receiving puppy. If the veterinarian does not give the puppy a clean bill of health buyer must notify seller immediately. Seller reserves the right to have the puppy re-examined by their vet at their expense.
Buyer agrees to accept responsibility for breed related problems that are not life threatening and are easily treatable. These problems include, but are not limited to: Cherry eye, entropion or ectropion, stenotic nares, skin allergy, localized demodex and heat intolerance. Conditions that warrant return of the puppy include, but are not limited to severe hip dysplasia, generalized demodex, tracheal atresia, seizure disorder or heart defect. We will not be responsible for any vet bills acquired. Puppies must be checked by a vet within 5 working days of purchase or health guarantee will be voided. Puppies are guaranteed for one year from the date of purchase. If a puppy is found to have a problem that warrants its return the buyers vet must send a certified letter that’s signed and dated with the said non treatable defects/illness. Buyer must not give us the letter doing so will jeopardize the return of the puppy and possibly void the health contract. The letter must include the vet’s name, address and telephone number. No cash refunds are given for returned puppies. The puppy will be replaced with a puppy of equal value, same sex, and color if possible within one calendar year of its return or upcoming litter. Puppies that have been injured or exposed to contagious canine diseases are not returnable. Buyer agrees to house the Yorkie puppy appropriately in a clean, climate controlled environment, provide vaccinations, de-worming, heart worm prevention, proper socialization, vet care, food and fresh water. Puppy has received at least 1 vaccine and be de-wormed. No replacement will be offered in case of Parvo.If the dog is found not to be in good health, Seller will resume possession if this is agreeable to both parties. Heat stroke, exhaustion, dehydration and other heat related conditions are not covered in any way.

Traveling can be a nerve-wracking experience, whether you walk on two legs or four furry ones. The loving family of the Snow-White Westies puts the safety and happiness of your puppy above everything else. As dog lovers and owners, ourselves, we know the stress that can linger over the thought of shipping a puppy – especially so when shipping a puppy over far distances. Our pet shipping services have proven themselves trustworthy, safe, and totally dependable time and time again. By working with all major airlines, we are able to provide a pet shipping service so our Westie Puppies can be welcomed in the loving home they deserve, no matter where that home is located! Airport Selection*: Together, we’ll find and choose the closest airport that implements a Pet Safe program. A Pet Safe program ensures qualified individuals and practices for a successful pet delivery service. Currently the only airlines shipping live animals through cargo is American Airlines. Coordination: Communication is key in any relationship – especially the one between your puppy’s breeder and you. We work with you to coordinate schedules, and we’ll send you an itinerary. Puppy Pickup: Next, we’ll transport your puppy to the airport. This is our favorite part of our puppy transport service because we get to spend precious time petting your pup for the last time during the entire ride to the airport! Accommodations: Once on board and snuggled in, your puppy will travel in comfort in a new airline-approved kennel with a soft bed, food, and water. The comfort is same as that in the main cabin with air condition and safety amenities. Communication: We will be in touch throughout the day with your puppy’s flight schedule until they arrive safely in your arms. Summer Months: American Airlines has limited aircrafts that can accommodate live animals. Less flights equals less options. It is also very hard shipping if you live in a warm climate. Temperatures need to be under 85 degrees upon arrival in order for your pet to be safely shipped. We will work with you in trying to find the best day & time to be able to ship your puppy but please be patient as mother nature is out of our control.
